We are wrapping up a LONG (3 week) shoot in Spain and Morocco and thought I should kick off the web version of my Shoot Quotes. Usually these are kept in a notebook, scraps of paper, etc. but I thought this would be a great place to share with everyone. These are quotes from the crew or models, and help shed some light on the lighter side of the shoots we do. 

Shoot Quotes (1) – Februaury 2008 Mallorca & Morocco 

 10) “Too Big” – Miguel, our Spainish ‘guide’ when he saw our rental BMW SUV

9) “Tooooo Big” – Miguel, after we hit a curb with BMW on day 1

“I’m not a picky eater” – Annie, model and vegetarian, the same day she turned down about a half dozen other food and beverage items because she didn’t like them

7) “I feel like my balls are always underwater” – Christian, model, after several days of shooting in and around the Mediterranean.

5)  “Oh look they have Redbull in Arabic [pause] oh wait the cans are just upside down” – Kate, model, in the streets of Morocco

4) “Lose the grill” – Me, to just about everyone at least once while shooting that wanted to show off their pearly whites

3) “ ‘H’ as in ‘Help Me’ – Beth, producer, to the Spanish speaking UPS C.S.R.

2) “Man I can’t wait for some ‘Sopa de Miguel’ ” – Joe, model, sarcastically after biting into a rabbit jaw bone (with teeth still in it) in the previous nights stew.

1) “The kicker is the whole time I thought they were going to strip search me and find out I was wearing women’s underwear” – Ryan, crew, after his run in with the Moroccan police
