I’m never a fan of diary blog posts (you know… “On Saturday I went to yadda yadda yadda”), not that I don’t love to keep up with what my peeps are doing, but that’s what Facebook is for. So with that in mind… where the hell have I been, I mean its been a month since the last blog post (yikes)?!
Well at the end of July we shot Sam Thompson crushing on the Colorado Trail: I actually put in 16 miles with him through the night at one point, that sounds kind of impressive until you realize that Sam was trying to go nearly 500 miles in under 8 days!!
Then after some err… car troubles it was time for Summer Outdoor Retailer, the biggest gathering of outdoor industry folk in North America, and home to the biggest climbing competition of the year:
Then Vacation with my Pops in The Cirque of the Unclimbables, where we climbed this thing in a 18 hour push from camp to camp:
Then it was home for a couple days, and the off to Chamonix for a Trail Running ad shoot that culminated with the Ultra Trail Mount Blanc, the biggest ultra-marathon race in the world:
And now I’m back in Salt Lake where we are looking for some fresh studio space, checking out some fresh magazine covers, and getting stoked for the upcoming fall season with blogs a plenty. tk
