A friend of mine has a cork-board next to the front door of his apartment and pinned to it is a note that reads, “Everyday you aren’t training, someone else is training, to kick your ass”. For lots of reasons that quote has resonated with me since I first read it and its a motto I try to keep in the back of my mind. It helps with the pre-dawn alarms, walking into an ad agency for the first time, or on Friday afternoons in Late October when the office is the last place I want to be. We all need days off sometimes, but at the same time we can all use a good kick in the butt every now and then. So what better time to put your week into perspective then on Friday afternoon!
The new Nau site is live and loaded with photos from a shoot we did in April:
The Nor’easter photo and videos are starting to appear out in the wild:
Our photos from ‘Operational Fall Magic’ got shipped out and are already live in places on the EMS site… how’s that for a turnaround!:
Also people have asked for a bigger resolution version of the Pakistan cover and you can get it here:

Some other good Friday Links:
Dpreview.com review of the A900 that just came out this week — (they came to the same conclusions I did)
A new virtual climbing magazine is live! (I’ll have more on this next week) — it will be interesting to see where this goes!: Deadpoint Magazine
Now it’s off to practice my golf swing… tk

Imma go hit the heavy bag
you gonna get a sony body? can you use nikon / canon glass on it?
Justin — I don’t know if the Sony system can be adapted to use Nikon or Canon. Sony is based on the old Minolta mount, but the low cost of the bodies make buying the lenses justifiable.
That’s funny you wrote about that post-it. That quote sticks with me as well, and I think about it a lot. It haunts me when I’m tired.
